September 2033 - Pine Hollow, North Carolina

It’s bowling night for Seth and Emma Lloyd on their twentieth anniversary. It may not seem like a big way to celebrate a seemingly big mark in their married years, but Seth and Emma aren’t ones to go all out on expensive dinners or parties.

So they celebrate with a fun night out, just the two of them. It’s like they’re teenagers again out on dates they used to have.

Although now they have no hesitation in teasing each other when their attempts at bowling are absolutely terrible.

After finishing a few games, they head out for a walk in the warm night.

And even though they are no longer like those lovestruck teenagers they used to be, they’re still those deeply in love adults they’ve grown up to be.

And still happy to move past those little romantic moments into the bigger ones every chance they get.

October 2033 - Pine Hollow, North Carolina

A party is being thrown at the Sutton house to celebrate a big step in little Evelyn’s life.

Four years old! She feels so grown up now. Maybe her big sister Beatrice will play with her more often. And she’ll start pre-K this year, so maybe she’ll make lots of new friends.

Evelyn is excited to be four!

Baine and Violet Austin go out to celebrate one year of marriage.

It’s nice having romantic dinners like these. Baine will tell you that these romantic dinners are all at Violet’s suggestion of what a night out looks like.

But if it keeps her happy and not complaining, he’s fine with it.

Besides, after dinner always provides a little more fun.

Marriage hasn’t been too bad so far after this first year, Baine decides.

San Myshuno, New York

It’s Ava Chase’s twelfth birthday on Halloween. Twelve is too old for trick or treating she and her friends decide. So Yahir Munch and Dulce Ritchie come over to play video games and eat cake.

But Dulce does not take losing very easily. She pouts every time Ava or Yahir beat her.

Darcy orders pizza for the birthday dinner at Ava’s request.

This is an easy birthday to celebrate, but Darcy isn’t sure how long that will last as Ava heads into her teen years.

But right now, Ava is having a great Halloween birthday with her friends.

I was trying as hard as I could to make Ava look younger, more like a twelve year old than a seventeen year old, but that girl does not want to look like a kid, lol! She still looked grown up no matter what I tried in hair or clothes.
