“Are you checking up on your scholarship applications?” Ethan asks. “Afraid you won’t make it through college?”
“Of course I’ll make it,” Adam tells him. “Unlike some of us around here, I’m strong enough to do some work if I need to.”
Ethan rolls his eyes before leaving the room.

“Only two months before you leave,” Jill says, sighing as she looks at her daughter. Her son is already out of the house, and now her little girl will be leaving too soon.
“You know, you could stay here and go to PSU,” Jill tells her. “It’s just down the road. You can still live here at home.”
“I want to get out into the rest of the world for a while,” Charlotte tells her mom. “I can’t be babied by you forever.”
“You can if you want to,” Jill says with a grin.

Lily walks out to the mailbox with butterflies all in her stomach. She checks each day to see if she has any information about the scholarships she applied for.
Any help for her parents to send her across the Atlantic Ocean will be very appreciated!

Lily Gates-Watson plans to attend Windenberg University in Germany, majoring in history. She received $800 in scholarships.
Charlotte Craig will attend Britechester University in Illinois, majoring in biology. She received $400 in scholarships.
Ethan Smith will attend Foxbury Institute in Illinois, majoring in computer science. He received $600 in scholarships.
Adam Smith will be attending Britechester University also, majoring in biology. He received $400 in scholarships.

I originally had Windenburg set in England but I kept fighting with myself that it should be in Germany. So I finally did relocate it!
Windenburg does sound more German to me, so I approve of that relocation, lol!
