Carrie
goes to visit Nathan whenever she has a chance. Her boys may be
completely different, but she loves both of them just the same. She
misses Nathan since he lives in Arcadia, but at least it isn’t a long
trip from Pine Hollow.
Nathan
is depressed a lot. “I don’t know how much more I can take of her,” he
tells his mom. “We’ve been married almost twenty years and had a few
years together in college before the wedding. It’s like we’ve spent
almost our whole lives together and yet I’m still not totally in love
with her.”
“You
don’t have to stay married if it’s not working out,” Carrie tells him.
“Phoebe is old enough now that she can understand if you get divorced.”
“No divorce,” Nathan says. “It won’t look good in this town. Terri’s designs are doing better each day and people are learning her name. I can’t be the guy who just left her.”
“Then you’ll be stuck with each other forever,” Carrie says. “Better get to smiling again.”
Todd’s marriage is the complete opposite of what his brother deals with. He and Rachel are still madly in love like they were in college. Even though he loves getting to know the various women he meets, sometimes Nathan wishes he could have what his brother has too.

The last of the updates that had been already posted on my Tumblr. From here, things posted on this blog will be new updates I haven't posted about before. On Tumblr I'll be posting some extra pictures that didn't make it to the blog.
And Nathan sat there looking so depressed most of the time his mom visited. I didn't plan that, but maybe he just needed to talk about life with his momma, lol!
Poor Nathan but if he's not going to do anything to change the situation, it's hard to see how he'll ever feel happy again.
ReplyDeleteNathan and Terri are hard to decide what should be done. One second they’re all over each other kissing and getting into bed, the next they’re yelling and insulting each other, lol.
